Happy Monday Omyoga blog followers, subscribers, and visitors – I appreciate your visit! Today, I would like to shed light on a famous Bible passage: John 4:24, which says “God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” If you know the Bible well, you will also see this passage’s alignment with several of the Ten Mosaic Commandments of not become idolatrous. Idolatry is the worship of matter (e.g. physical form) over Divine Spirit. The practice of OM meditation is worshiping God in truth and spirit since OM is truth (OM TAT SAT) and OM is spirit (OM is the Pranava). So, take a slow deep breath in, and mentalize the OOO sound. Pause. Then slowly let that breath out slowly and mentalize the MMM sound. You are experiencing God and honoring him in spirit and truth directly through this breathing practice. Namaste, Keith
