365 Limitless Verbs

Dear Omyoga blog followers, subscribers, and visitors – thanks for your visit. Today, I am creating a post to remind (and inform) you of a book I wrote last fall (2019) called “365 Limitless Verbs”. As a Technical Writer with more than twenty years of practical work experience, I can tell you that the verb is the most challenging and unique aspect of language. When you are writing, all parts of speech are important. However, the verb is of key importance because through a well-chosen verb, you truly communicate to your reader what is happening. Perhaps you are writing a novel and need to say what the protagonist is doing, to generate specific reader sentiment. Perhaps you are writing a user-guide for a software application and need a great verb to describe what a button-click does. Verbs that are too general will not get you far. They will only create frustration on the part of the reader. So, a guide like this will help you to choose a great verb. Cost-effective and backed by many years of hard work in the trenches of software documentation. Best Regards, Keith Johnson
