In the Bhagavad-Gita (The Song of God), Lord Krishna (speaking as the Absolute Itself) tells Arjuna (and hence tells humanity) the following, in Chapter 17 (The Divisions of Faith), Verse 23: “OM TAT SAT”, in Sanskrit, which translates to “OM, That is The Truth” in English. If you look at the image at the top of this post, you will see that truth is only “relatively true” from limited angles of observation. But truth, in and of itself, is complete. So, not only is OM the Absolute Truth of Existence, but OM is Complete too. So, as one chants OM and as one meditates on OM, one is connecting with the Absolute Reality (God, in English, Brahman, in Sanskrit) in a complete sense. Namaste.
