In the Bible, Jesus Christ said that “I and the Father are One.” If you look at the image above, you will see waves and the Ocean. Christ Consciousness is just that – knowing that the wave is naturally one with the Ocean and not separate from it. In life, most of us feel a sense of separation from God because we are like the wave that thinks it is there all alone by itself. That is the illusion called “maya” in ancient Sanskrit. Sure, for a brief moment, the wave it just a bit aloof of the Ocean, but without the Ocean, it cannot manifest as such. The Ocean is the empowering force behind the wave. But, in a short time, the wave will return to the Ocean and say to itself “ah yes, that was just a brief diversion, but now I am back home.” For me OM meditation is the key to staying mindful of the Omniscience of God, who is Divine Spirit, called Brahman in ancient Sanskrit.
