The Totality of “OM”

If you examine the OM prayer/mantra/chant/sound invocation, you will see that the actual sound embodies two complete concepts – nonduality and duality. The nondual aspect of the chant is the “O” sound. If you take two O letters, side-by-side, you produce the infinity symbol. The underside of this double-O creates the W sound and the upper side of this double-O creates the M sound. If you put these all together, you get, sound-wise, O + W + M, which sounds like OM since the W is silent. So, from the sound-angle, OM is the perfect spiritual sound invocation that allows us to honor and recognize all within the domains of nonduality and duality.
