OM: Four Quadrants of Being

The Mandukya Upanishad teaches that “all this … is OM”, meaning “everything we see and do not see is Supreme Spirit, or ‘Brahman’ in Sanskrit”. With that said, here are the four immense aspects of OM that are honored every time you chant or meditate:

  1. OM honors all Divine Forms of God that one knows, like Krishna, Buddha, Jesus.
  2. OM honors all Divine Forms of God that one does not know or understand.
  3. OM honors all Divine Non-Forms of God that one knows like Love & Compassion.
  4. OM honors all Divine Non-Forms of God that one does not know or understand.
