The essential mantra (sound-formula) for Buddhahood (spiritual awakening) in Tibetan Buddhism is “Om Ah Hung”. This mantra purifies the top three chakras (energy centers) in the human body: the heart chakra, the throat chakra, and the head chakra. Many of the Buddhist mantras and prayers begin with “Om Ah Hung” and whatever follows describes a Buddhist deity. When I go out somewhere with my car and have to face the crazy roads of South Florida, I chant “Om Ah Hung” several times in the car (before actually driving) to bless and protect my vehicle. In this way, I am protected with Spiritual/Buddhist energies and can then drive in peace, or at least mostly in peace. Drive safely! Life is precious and sacred. Thanks. Namaste.
